Holy Crap!

I woke up this morning to an unusually high number of views on our flickr page. Turns out our own wedding is featured today on offbeat bride So apparently it wasn't the white-trash hoe-down I had feared.

The Ecstatic Wisdom of the City of Angels

A few random updates on our life: First of all, we picked up a new camera today
I got a new Camera!

What does this mean for you? We now have two good, working cameras instead of one and a half. Matthew is now able to take photos uninterrupted, at random, and without throwing the camera out the window. We also (finally) picked two flash units so we're no longer scared of the dark. Awesomeness is sure to ensue.

Matthew had 5 wisdom teeth (yes, 5) pulled this week. I left him alone for a few minutes and this is what I found when I came back:
Poor Baby

We went to LA earlier this week...
Teeth of the Great Monster

... and did a little adding to the ol' sign collection
Local Celebrity

War

Jesus Saves

And that is our life this week. Thank you.

Rachel & Scott

Rachel & Scott were my first wedding:
Scott & Rachel

Scott is currently in Iraq doing non-military car repair or something like that, so we took a few minutes while he was home on leave the first week I was back in California.

Dylan and Sarah's Wedding pt 2

Here are some of the photos from Dylan & Sarah's Middletown CT wedding.
I've been finding myself even more drawn to B&W lately. But it's all good because, seriously, who doesn't like B&W. There are more photos on our flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11484841@N02/

I do have photos of standing on a corner in Winslow AZ, but I didn't get around to uploading them. Maybe later...

Alive and Kicking

So, as I'm sure everyone knows, life has been happening to us since my last post. We're now living in Southern California trying to figure out what to do next with our lives. I've been taking lots of photos in the meantime, and am working to get the following posted:
• our trip cross country
• Rachel and Scott
• Dylan and Sarah's wedding
• The Kanavel Family

It's been so long since I've posted that I'd forgotten my sign-in info for this page. That's all resolved now.

I'm also working on a new, real website and business cards and the whole nine yards...
